The New Blood production involves 40 performers including Strathmore High School students, Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of the community and neighbouring First Nations community. The New Blood production presents a story of Reconciliation inspired by the life of Chief Vincent Yellow Old Woman, Siksika Nation, and his experience as a child in residential school, how he reclaimed his life and became chief of his people.

New Blood blends Blackfoot music and contemporary music by Peter Gabriel to create theatre celebrating Blackfoot History and Tradition.
